UP42, a Berlin-based geospatial data platform, is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our SRE team. You will scale and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure the reliability and performance of our geospatial processing platform.

Join an international team with a hybrid work model, offering both home-office flexibility and an office in Kreuzberg. The role emphasizes IaC, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Prometheus, with opportunities to own improvements and contribute to DevOps culture.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps roles.
• Practical experience managing infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or comparable experience with AWS/Azure
• Solid working knowledge of Terraform (you can confidently read, modify, and deploy existing IaC modules in production)
• Hands-on experience deploying, operating, and troubleshooting containerized workloads in production environments
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts
• Experience with observability solutions and monitoring systems like Prometheus
• Driven to make a hands-on impact as an Individual Contributor (IC), bringing a growth mindset, technical empathy, and a collaborative approach to the team
• Full business fluency in English, with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse teams

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer (m/f/x) to join our motivated SRE team in Berlin to help scale and maintain our cloud infrastructure while ensuring the reliability and performance of our geospatial processing platform.

What you will do

• Build, maintain and scale reliable infrastructure solutions using cloud-native technologies.
