Zusammenfassung

New Media Service GmbH in Heidelberg is seeking a Microsoft 365 Cloud Architect to shape the cloud journey for clients. You analyze existing IT setups, design migration roadmaps and implement Microsoft 365, Azure, and Teams architectures while guiding stakeholders and ensuring security and compliance.

You will work with IT teams and management to promote cloud adoption, deliver hands-on projects, and stay current with cloud innovations to drive client success.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience in planning, migrating and operating backend Microsoft solutions.
• Strong consulting and project experience with cloud migrations and adoption.
• Excellent command of English.
• Experience with Office 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint.
• Good knowledge of Windows Server, Hyper‑V and Azure services.

Your task as a Microsoft 365 Cloud Architect is to develop tailored solutions that take into account the specific needs and challenges of each company. You are the expert who knows the best practices for using Microsoft 365 applications, including Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure, and integrates them into your clients' cloud strategy.

Your work begins with analysing the existing IT infrastructure and business processes to create a roadmap for cloud migration. You develop architectural plans that enable the integration of Microsoft 365 into the existing IT environment and ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.

However, your responsibilities extend far beyond planning. You work closely with IT teams, executive management, and other stakeholders to convey the benefits of cloud technology and promote adoption across the entire company. You are the problem solver who identifies challenges and develops innovative solutions to overcome them.

Your Profile

• Support with the planning, migration, implementation, and administration of Office / Microsoft 365, Azure Services, or Microsoft Teams including VoIP telephony
• Continuous development of customer infrastructure towards new (Microsoft) technologies (Microsoft 365 / Azure Datacenter, Intune, Teams, etc.)
• Consulting, planning, and integration of PaaS and SaaS solutions
• Guiding our customers on their journey to the cloud and SaaS solutions: Cloud Enablement and Transitions
• Facilitating workshops, health checks, or training sessions for customers or within projects.

Your Qualifications

• Good foundational knowledge of Microsoft M365, Azure, and, where applicable, traditional IT infrastructure
• Confident and professional demeanour with customers
• Several years of experience in the planning, implementation, and operation of backend solutions
• Experience with the implementation of Office 365, in at least one key area (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint)
• Very good understanding of Microsoft cloud technologies
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, HyperV, Exchange 2016, SQL Server, as well as Office 365 and Azure Services
• Knowledge in the areas of server virtualisation, server management, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft AD, Azure AD
• Very good command of English
