Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in IT infrastructure or cloud architecture.
• Experience designing enterprise AWS environments in regulated contexts.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services: VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch.
• Strong understanding of network, IAM, HA and DR patterns.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps concepts.
• Ability to work across global cross-functional teams.

• AWS Infrastructure Architecture & Design
  • Design and maintain enterprise AWS infrastructure architectures, including account and environment structures, networking (VPC, connectivity, segmentation), compute, storage and database foundations.
  • Define and evolve AWS Landing Zones, reference architectures, and infrastructure patterns ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, scalability and performance across workloads.
  • Review and approve infrastructure designs for new and existing AWS workloads.
• Cloud Governance & Platform Standards
  • Define and enforce AWS infrastructure standards and guardrails: account strategy and isolation, IAM, network security baselines.
  • Contribute to global cloud governance frameworks and Cloud Policy implementation, ensuring consistency across environments while enabling team autonomy.
• Security, Risk & Compliance (Infrastructure Focus)
  • Embed security by design into all AWS infrastructure architectures.
  • Implement logging, monitoring and audit controls, security tooling and baseline configurations.
  • Support compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR and internal IT security policies and act as escalation point for infrastructure‑related security incidents.
• Cost Optimization & Infrastructure Efficiency
  • Design AWS infrastructure with cost transparency and optimization, support FinOps practices including tagging, cost allocation and usage optimization.
  • Advise on cost mechanisms such as Savings Plans and architectural trade‑offs and partner with Cloud Financial Management to improve efficiency.
• Enablement, Advisory & Collaboration
  • Act as AWS infrastructure advisor for application, DevOps and operations teams and support cloud adoption and modernization.
  • Collaborate closely with Application Architects, Cloud Security, Cloud Operations, external partners and system integrators.
  • Maintain high quality architecture documentation and decision records.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and/or cloud architecture.
• Proven experience designing and operating enterprise‑scale AWS environments in regulated or security‑sensitive contexts.
• Experience in global or multi‑team IT organizations (preferred).
• Fluency in English, additional languages an advantage.
• Deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure services: VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, database management, IAM, Organizations, CloudTrail, CloudWatch.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and connectivity, identity and access management, HA and DR patterns.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and familiarity with DevOps & CI/CD concepts.
• Strong analytical, architectural thinking, structured and standards‑driven approach.
• Clear communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work across global, cross‑functional teams.
