About the Position

This position is located at the Behavioral Health Clinic in Grafenwöhr, Germany. The incumbent will work as an independent professional under the administrative supervision of Behavioral Health carrying out duties in accordance with generally accepted psychological theories, methods, techniques, and practices.

Basic Requirement for Clinical Psychologist

Degree: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below.

Specialized Experience

One year of specialized experience which includes: provide individual and group therapy, using various modalities as clinically indicated to include brief problem-focused psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and client-centered therapy; and assessing acute mental health conditions in beneficiaries and maintain appropriate documentation of patient care in accordance with agency and hospital standard operating procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
