This position reports to: HSE Manager

Key responsibilities

• Bring your expertise to the planning, management and implementation of demanding construction in an interdisciplinary environment. You will coordinate sustainable construction projects and optimize processes for maximum efficiency. With your focus on quality and safety you will ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. • The work model for the role is hybrid (LI-Hybrid).

You will be mainly accountable for

• Preparation of construction and execution plans as well as expert opinions in interdisciplinary collaboration with architects, specialist planners, authorities and internal teams.
• Management of scheduling and cost planning for construction projects taking economic and sustainability aspects into account.
• Coordination and alignment with internal and external stakeholders including construction companies, suppliers and authorities.
• Inspection and selection of building materials and construction technologies with a focus on sustainability and increased efficiency.
• Monitoring of construction execution and ensuring compliance with regulations, standards and occupational safety standards.
• Conducting risk analyses and developing preventive measures to ensure compliance with environmental and occupational health and safety requirements.

Qualifications for the role

• Completed degree in civil engineering or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in project management and leadership
• In-depth knowledge of building regulations, standards and occupational safety standards as well as construction and environmental law in an industrial environment
• Confident use of CAD programs and project management tools for the efficient planning and management of construction projects
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders and authorities
