First Methodist Church of Stuttgart seeks a passionate and visionary Childrens Discipleship Director to lead and invigorate their childrens ministry. This role demands a dynamic individual both creative and organized with a proven track record in volunteer recruitment and training. The ideal candidate will possess experience with an established curriculum and demonstrate a strong ability to foster an engaging, fun and spiritually enriching environment for children.

This director will be responsible for revitalizing the childrens programs addressing the current challenges of volunteer burnout and ensuring the continuity of quality ministry. They will collaborate closely with church leadership to align the childrens ministry with the broader goals of the church which is deeply committed to supporting families and nurturing the spiritual growth of the next generation.

POSITION OVERVIEW

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide vision and leadership for the Childrens Discipleship area.
• Direct the Childrens Discipleship Committee in planning and carrying out their ministry to help more children become devoted followers of Christ.
• Contribute to the big picture and the bottom line of the churchs goals and growth.
• Increase the number of families with children who participate in the ministries of FMC.
• Increase the number of children who participate in the life of the church.
• Provide opportunities for children and parents to participate in local missions.
• Recruit and equip people to present the childrens message during the regular worship service on Sunday morning.
