Huawei's Munich Research Center seeks a Chief Engineer - Acoustics to lead the sound quality strategy for our automotive audio systems. You will guide DSP tuning, loudspeaker layout, and overall acoustics performance across high-end products.

The role requires a Master’s degree in electrical/telecommunications engineering, deep DSP expertise, and a proven track record in automotive acoustics tuning. You will influence global audio technology and lead expert teams.

Chief Engineer - Acoustics (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Responsible for the sound quality of sound system, develop the brand tuning sound quality style.
• Develop the car sound quality target and tuning strategy and take responsibility for the sound quality.
• Ensure the competitiveness of sound quality, including industry-leading audio software and hardware technologies and sound quality debugging technologies.

Your areas of expertise

• Master’s degree (or higher) in electrical/telecommunications engineering (or equivalent)
• Good knowledge in the field of digital signal processing
• Professional background in acoustics, signal processing; proficiency in automotive acoustics tuning tools and methods; familiarity with key audio technologies, such as audio DSP, power amplifier, loudspeaker, and acoustics layout
• Extensive industry experience, independently lead the system design and tuning of multiple high-end products
• Internationally renowned awards and industry influence in the field of music and art are preferred, and subjective evaluation qualifications recognized by the industry are preferred
