ALSICAL Hüttenwerkstechnik in Großdubrau is seeking a Chemical Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) to perform quality control of products and raw materials and to carry out detailed analyses using XRF, C/S, CO₂, and viscosity measurements. You will monitor equipment, document results, and prepare certificates, while working independently in a collaborative team.

About Us

ALSICAL Hüttenwerkstechnik, a medium-sized company with approximately 35 employees, has been successfully producing high-quality granulated casting auxiliaries for nearly thirty years. The annual production amounts to about 15,000 tons and has a significant impact on the quality of the end product for the customer. CHEMICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN (M/F/D)

Location: Großdubrau

Your Responsibilities

• Quality control of products and raw materials (chemical and physical)
• Carrying out analyses and documenting the results, including:
  • Moisture determination, Sieve analysis, Bulk density determination
  • X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF), Carbon/sulphur (C/S) determination, CO₂ determination, Viscosity determination
  • Heating microscopy
• Monitoring and maintenance of testing equipment
• Shift handover and shift takeover, including:
  • Communicating plant status, deviations from normal operating conditions, faults, shutdowns, start-ups, and required analyses
• Independent working and organisation of work processes
• Preparation of analysis certificates

Your Profile

• Successfully completed training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) or an equivalent qualification
• Previous professional experience is desirable, ideally in the chemical industry
• Applicants from other technical professions are also welcome
• Good understanding of chemical processes and analytical techniques
• Reliable, conscientious, and independent approach to work
• Commitment, initiative, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, and modern communication tools
