Job summary

Elite Jet Service GmbH seeks an experienced Certifying Staff CAT B1 (m/f/d) with hands-on General/Business Aviation maintenance. The role requires independence after a short company induction and solid knowledge of maintenance procedures.

Requirements include an EASA Part-66 B1 licence (ideally with Category C), vocational aircraft mechanic training, and several years’ hands-on experience in General/Business Aviation maintenance. German and English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair work on General/Business Aviation aircraft.

• Adhere to EASA Part-145 and company procedures.
• Work independently after completing induction and orientation.

Certifying Staff CAT B1 (m/f/d)
with hands-on experience in General and/or Business Aviation

Is this the right position for you?

For this position, we are specifically looking for an experienced professional from General or Business Aviation who can work independently after a short company-specific induction period.

Experience in General/Business Aviation is a mandatory requirement. Experience solely on commercial aircraft such as Airbus or Boeing is not sufficient for this position.

• Valid EASA Part-66 Category B1 licence, ideally with additional Category C qualification
• Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic/aircraft maintenance technician or a comparable qualification
• Several years of hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of General and/or Business Aviation aircraft
• Familiarity with maintenance procedures and requirements within General or Business Aviation
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility after a short company-specific induction period
• Good command of written and spoken German and English
• A structured and reliable approach to work, with a strong commitment to quality and safety

Particularly valuable to us:

• Experience in the maintenance and repair of business jets, ideally on Cessna Citation and/or Embraer aircraft (e.g. Phenom, Legacy or Praetor).
• Existing type ratings for General or Business Aviation aircraft
• Experience working within an EASA Part-145 approved maintenance organisation
