Qualifications

• Minimum Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program; or applicable Military Medical Training; or students enrolled in a BSN program with proof of enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with exams and procedures; organize and manage patient flow.
• Rotate in all assigned outpatient clinics or designated patient care areas as a Medical Assistant Float.

Summary

Medical Assistants are essential members of the clinic team. They contribute to the healthcare of patients by assisting with exams and procedures, organizing and managing patient flow, and taking on other responsibilities based on the needs of the department. Certified Medical Assistant Floats will rotate in all assigned outpatient clinics or other designated patient care areas.

Salary Range

$19.65 - $29.94
