Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Medical Coder (CPC) to review documentation and assign correct CPT/ICD-10 codes for billing accuracy. The role supports teaching physician documentation and ensures regulatory compliance across coding practices.

The candidate will train staff, address coding questions, and assist with denials and charge corrections while staying updated on government billing guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• Certified Professional Coder certification required.
• Extensive knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Knowledge of government regulations related to teaching physician documentation and billing guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Certified Professional Coder certification required
• Extensive knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
• Knowledge of government regulations as they relate to teaching physician documentation and billing guidelines
• Understanding of the importance of compliance with all regulations regarding coding and billing; and provider requirements
