TASKS WITH IMPACT

  • You are responsible for the strategically important Hair Care category within the DACH Group Category Management
  • Independent assortment and supplier management, including negotiating terms and conditions within your portfolio
  • Definition, implementation, and communication of centrally managed purchasing and product strategies, communication with suppliers and as a central interface within the company
  • Independent execution, preparation, and follow-up of supplier meetings, including annual negotiations
  • Budget responsibility: you evaluate and manage regular product launches both online and in-store
  • Regular analysis of assortment-relevant KPIs of new and existing suppliers, identification of market potential for the category, and channel-specific translation of company goals
  • Planning, implementation, and evaluation of sales-supporting marketing measures and seasonal sales campaigns
  • National and international market and trend monitoring, competitive analysis, and preparation of corresponding reports and derivation of measures — you will work closely with international stakeholders

YOUR SKILLS

  • You have successfully completed a degree in business administration or have a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
  • Ideally, you already have several years of professional experience in category management, purchasing, sales, retail, or industry and preferably experience in the beauty sector
  • You possess strong negotiation skills and a confident demeanor
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive thinking and acting define your work approach
  • You have very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP is desirable
  • You have an affinity for analytical work and feel comfortable working with complex analyses
  • Fluent German and English skills round off your profile
