sbp is seeking CAD Technicians for Detailed Design to join our project teams in Germany. You will create detailed drawings and construction plans for projects worldwide, ensuring compliance with construction standards and regulations.

Our scope of services includes all project phases from concept to completion— spanning from preliminary studies and detailed design to erection engineering and supervision of fabrication and construction. CAD Technicians play a particularly important role in our project teams. They create detailed technical drawings and construction plans and are the link between different disciplines. Further, they ensure compliance with construction standards and regulations and thus ensure the smooth implementation of our construction projects.

To strengthen our project teams, we are looking forward to welcoming several CAD Technicians for Detailed Design to start with us as soon as possible.

Your Tasks

• Creating and maintaining 2D construction drawings based on sketches, design concepts, as well as drawings derived from 3D for projects worldwide
• Creating and maintaining formwork and reinforcement drawings
• Developing technical details for steel and timber structures
• Applying relevant design and construction standards
• Working independently with project engineers and fabricators

Your Profile

• Completed apprenticeship as a draftsman/draftswoman, steel constructor, technical systems designer or a certified technician in the field of construction with a focus on construction or metal construction, or a degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering, steel construction, or metal and lightweight construction
• Experience in creating technical drawings and CAD modeling with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Allplan, Tekla, or Inventor – motivated entry level candidates are also welcome
• Ideally, a good understanding of national and international standards and building regulations in the field of steel construction
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a team
• Precise and accurate working style
• Very good knowledge of the German language, both written and spoken
