Qualifikationen

• Bachelor or technical degree in mechatronics or related field is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in concept development and specification for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with CAD programs (SolidWorks) and PLM solutions (Teamcenter).
• Solid knowledge of materials science, mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes; knowledge of electrical standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Development and design of our system solutions in the field of radio surveillance (COMINT, C-ESM, C-ECM) using advanced CAD programs (e.g., SolidWorks)
• Design of digital models for new mechanical components and preparation of system-specific schematics for our products
• Support for concept development, component selection, supplier management, prototyping, standards-compliant design, and transfer to production
• Independent communication with suppliers and monitoring of project-specific deliverables
• Continuous expansion of model libraries in the CAD system SolidWorks and Teamcenter PLM
• Close coordination with other specialist groups during the integration process, including recording, evaluating and implementing change requests
• International collaboration with experts from other Saab locations
• Commissioning, maintenance and repair at customer facilities

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician or a completed technical degree, preferably in mechatronics or a comparable qualification
• Practical experience in concept development and specification for mechanical and electrical systems, ideally for complex systems for data acquisition, processing and analysis
• Experience with CAD programs (e.g., SolidWorks) and PLM solutions (e.g., Teamcenter)
• Solid knowledge of materials science, mechanical engineering and manufacturing processesKnowledge of electrical standards and installation as well as mechanical standards and design
