Ersilia in Germany seeks a veteran C++ developer to own a critical, certifiable codebase for a large digital health platform used by dental practices nationwide.
You will work on on-site in Eggenfelden, embracing legacy systems while crafting modern, robust C++ code and PostgreSQL databases within an agile two-person team.
Only candidates with 5–10 years of hardcore C++ experience, native German and strong English, and deep SQL/Git skills will be considered.
Stop Hiding Behind the Screen. Build Software That Matters.
Most dev jobs promise "disruption." This one actually impacts human health. We are partnering with a top-tier digital health pioneer to find a C++ veteran.
This isn't a cozy remote gig where you blend into a massive corporate machine. It is a 100% on-site, high-stakes mission in Eggenfelden, Germany. You will be one of exactly three developers steering a massive, certified platform used by dental practices nationwide. We want someone who wants to take total ownership of their code.
You aren't just writing shiny greenfield code; you are adopting a critical, highly-ranked legacy codebase and making it sing. You must respect the old while engineering the new. It takes a specific kind of developer to own the entire software lifecycle, write certifiable C++ code, design complex PostgreSQL databases, and collaborate seamlessly in a highly agile, two-person room. If you are afraid of getting your hands dirty with legacy architecture, look away now.
Let’s save each other time. Do not apply unless you meet every single one of these criteria. There is zero flexibility on these requirements:
Location: 100% on-site in Eggenfelden, Germany. Remote, hybrid, or home office is completely off the table.
Experience: 5 to 10 years of hardcore, professional C++ development.
Language: C2 German (native-level fluency) and C1 English.
Data & Tools: Deep SQL/PostgreSQL skills and Git proficiency.
Education: A Master’s degree (M.A., M.Sc., or equivalent) is strictly required.
Attitude: You do not run from legacy code; you take pride in optimizing it.
If you have the grit, the curiosity, and the skill to pass the rigorous hiring process, which includes a three-day on-site trial to prove your technical mettle—the payoff is exceptional:
Compensation: €65,000 – €90,000 base salary plus a highly lucrative 15% bonus.
Stability: A permanent, full-time contract in a resilient, future-proof industry.
Time Off: 26 days of annual leave (25 + 1).
Environment: State‑of‑the‑??
