Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain firmware for embedded measurement devices
• Implement user interfaces (menu navigation) on graphical displays
• Handle data acquisition, statistical processing, and visualisation of measurements
• Develop file system-based features for storing and loading settings and measured values
• Create digital communication interfaces between measurement probes and display/control devices
• Design communication protocols for PC or PLC integration
• Contribute to system and usability concepts for new products
• Document codebases, data formats, and system interfaces

Your Profile

• At least 2 years of professional experience in object-oriented programming with C++, ideally in embedded or hardware-focused environments
• Familiarity with software architecture and project planning for microcontroller-based systems
• Hands-on experience programming 32-bit microcontrollers (e.g. STM32, ATSAM, or similar)
• Confident in using version control tools such as Git
• Understanding of basic statistical concepts such as standard deviation, measurement uncertainty, and error propagation
• Basic experience in PC-side software development (e.g. with C# for utility applications)
• Ability to maintain a project-wide perspective and work collaboratively across disciplines
