Job summary

Gulp AG in Munich is seeking a seasoned C#/.NET Developer to design and implement server-side and client-side features, and to maintain complex HMI software. The role focuses on high-performance web code, robust UI concepts, and API integration.

The successful candidate will translate functional designs into efficient interfaces, ensure code quality through reviews and automated tests, and work with SQL Server and Git within a permanent, full-time client engagement.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, software engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in software development and/or the implementation of complex web applications with C# and .NET.
• Solid knowledge of clean code and sustainable software architecture.
• Routine in creating unit tests.
• Confident handling of relational databases (SQL Server) as well as Git and build processes.
• Ideally, in-depth knowledge of TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Excellent German skills, both spoken and written.
• Analytical, structured thinking skills and a conscientious work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualization and implementation of new software functions in the server-side backend and client-side application.
• Development and maintenance of complex HMI product software based on C#/.NET.
• Implementation of modern UI concepts with a focus on usability and robustness.
• Translation of functional design concepts into high-performance, responsive web code.
• Ensuring seamless integration of the web interface with downstream APIs.
• Design and implementation of efficient interfaces, including integration with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Establishment of best practices, conducting code reviews, and ensuring sustainability and stability through automated testing.
• In-depth analysis of complex error patterns and guaranteeing sustainable bug fixes.
