Job summary

Gaming Minds Studios, part of Kalypso Media Group, is seeking an Engine Programmer to strengthen our 18‑member team in Gütersloh, Germany. You will design, implement and test engine components for PC and current‑gen consoles, collaborating with seasoned programmers and game developers to deliver high‑quality titles.

The role welcomes career newcomers and requires strong C/C++ skills, GPU programming expertise, and familiarity with DirectX12 or equivalent rendering APIs.

Qualifications

• Highly skilled in GPU programming and 3D mathematics.
• Strong knowledge of DirectX12 or other rendering APIs.
• Excellent proficiency in C/C++.
• Experience programming video games for PC; console experience is a plus.
• Experience with PS5 and Xbox Series is advantageous.
• Ability to design, develop and debug robust engine code.
• Newcomers to the profession are welcome to apply.

In order to keep up the quality of our games, we are looking for a Engine Programmer (m/f/d) in permanent employment to support our 18-member team in Gütersloh (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) as soon as possible.

Your Profile:

• Excellent knowledge in GPU-programming and 3D-mathematics
• Excellent knowledge in DirectX12 or other Rendering-APIs
• Excellent knowledge in C/C++
• Experience in programming video games for PC
• Experience in programming of PS5 and Xbox Series is advantageous
• Experience in design, developing and debugging effective and robust code
• Even career newcomers are welcome
