Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced procurement professional to support the sourcing and purchasing activities in a German organization. You will review requisitions, create orders, and manage contracts, while promoting process optimisations and automation across the Procure-to-Pay cycle.

The role requires strong IT skills, SAP and MS Office proficiency, fluent German and English, and the ability to work independently with a structured, team-oriented approach to drive cost savings and supplier

Qualifikationen

• Commercial vocational training completed or equivalent qualification and several years of purchasing/procurement experience.
• Structured, independent and process-oriented working style with strong communication and teamwork.
• Analytical mindset and service orientation.
• Willingness to optimise and automate processes.
• Strong IT affinity; proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent German and English written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Support procurement organization in efficient execution of purchasing processes and optimize workflows.
• Review purchase requisitions, create purchase orders and manage ordering and contracts.
• Carry out low-risk local and global sourcing, including RFQs, price comparisons, and negotiations with strategic buyers.
• Maintain supplier, material and contract master data in systems and ensure data quality.
• Prepare reports and analyses on purchasing KPIs, spend and savings for data-driven decisions.
• Monitor compliance with purchasing policies and assist with escalations for scheduling or quality issues.
• Contribute to improving contract coverage and reducing maverick buying.
• Support development and automation of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.

Requirements

• Completed commercial vocational training or equivalent qualification and several years of professional experience in purchasing/procurement
• Structured, independent and process‑oriented working style, with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Analytical mindset and a strong service orientation
• Willingness to continuously optimise and automate processes
• High IT affinity and confident user of SAP and Microsoft Office
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
