Job summary

Sika in Germany seeks a Business Process Expert Transportation Management (m/w/d) to bridge complex business needs with SAP solutions. You will drive digital transformation and optimize the logistical backbone of regional operations, combining SAP depth with a strong business mindset.

As a regional team member, you lead SAP LE-TRA and TM activities, own sub-projects, mentor consultants, and coordinate with business units and IT for seamless end-to-end processes.

Qualifications

• BA or MA in Business Administration, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Several years of proven experience in SAP LE-TRA and SAP TM.
• Solid understanding of SCM processes with a focus on Transport Management.
• Fluency in German and English; strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office with willingness to travel ~30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic SAP rollouts and integrate acquisitions across the EMEA region.
• Own sub-projects and workstreams during SAP TM go-lives and optimization phases.
• Design efficient logistics workflows aligned with SAP capabilities.
• Oversee interfaces and integrations between SAP environments.
• Mentor junior consultants and refine internal standards.
• Serve as primary logistics expert handling high-level process requests and change management.
• Collaborate with business units, external consultants, and IT to ensure end-to-end processes.

• Lead Strategic Rollouts: Spearhead SAP implementations and seamlessly integrate new acquisitions across the EMEA region.
• Project Ownership: Take full responsibility for sub-projects and workstreams during SAP TM go-lives and optimization phases.
• Process Architect: Analyze complex logistics workflows to design practical, high-efficiency solutions that connect business reality with SAP capability.
• Technical Integration: Oversee critical interfaces and integrations between diverse SAP environments.
• Mentorship & Innovation: Act as a mentor to junior consultants and actively refine our internal standards and methodologies.
• Strategic Support: Serve as the primary expert for logistics solutions, handling high-level process requests, error analysis, and change management.
• Collaborative Network: Align with business departments, external consultants, and our internal IT house to ensure seamless end-to-end processes.

• BA or MAdegree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Several years of proven experience in SAP LE-TRA and deep, functional knowledge of SAP TM.
• A solid understanding of SCM processes with a focus on Transport Management, complemented by a basic grasp of adjacent SAP modules.
• You possess the ability to deconstruct complex problems and translate them into structured, goal-oriented results.
• Fluency in German and English is essential. You are a confident communicator and presenter who can influence stakeholders at all levels.
• You are proficient in MS Office and enjoy the variety of regional work, including a 30% travel readiness.
