Position: Development Manager (m/w/d)

Arrow Intelligent Solutions (AIS), part of Arrow Electronics, enables customer business growth by simplifying technology experience. We support the full product lifecycle – design, development, prototyping, manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics and managed services.

The Intelligent Solutions Team is expanding! We're looking for a Business Development Manager (m/w/d) based in Germany to drive strategic growth, build strong client relationships and identify new market opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and win new business opportunities from ISVs and OEMs.
  • Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key accounts, C-level stakeholders and partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities in new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services.
  • Develop a funnel using Salesforce as a CRM tool.
  • Ensure execution of sales growth plans and drive demand identification and creation opportunities.
  • Plan and oversee new business initiatives.
  • Research organizations and key stakeholders to find new opportunities.
  • Find and develop new markets and improve sales by leveraging Arrow's portfolio of integration services.
  • Attend conferences, meetings and industry events.
  • Develop quotes and proposals for clients.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar position in sales and business development within a relevant sector.
  • Preferred experience working for a technology vendor or OEM partner.
  • Strong ability to build and develop strategic business relationships.
  • Experience interacting with C-level or key stakeholders from SMB and Enterprise accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of the market and a good understanding of the added value that an OEM partner provides to the channel.
  • Effective communication with people at all levels.
  • Strong collaboration skills within a virtual team and external partners.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Report to the Head of Business Development and be part of a fun, diverse team.
