Lead commercial traction in preventive health as our Business Development Lead, with remote-first flexibility.

R&D Partners is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Business Development Lead to drive growth within the MedTech/Devices industry. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape commercial traction and contribute to fundraising success in a purpose-driven organization focused on preventive health and longevity.

Responsibilities
  • Secure pilot customers and manage the sales pipeline to close initial commercial deals.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with clinics, wellness centers, hospitals, employers, and other stakeholders.
  • Convert pilot projects into commercial contracts to generate early revenue.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Act as the primary contact for key client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, renewals, and upselling opportunities.
  • Provide market intelligence to influence product roadmap and positioning strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align commercial priorities with company growth.
  • Support fundraising efforts by generating VC leads, shaping investor pitches, and co-owning investor relationships with leadership.
Key Skills and Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles, ideally in digital health, diagnostics, or wellness tech.
  • Proven track record of securing pilots and closing B2B/B2B2C deals with long sales cycles.
  • Experience in investor engagement and familiarity with VC processes.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English; German and French are a strong advantage.
  • EU-Swiss passport or valid work permit.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in longevity, preventive medicine, or diagnostics.
  • Established network in healthcare and/or VC ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with startup scaling and fundraising cycles.
