Sephora in Düsseldorf seeks a Controlling professional to lead day-to-day controlling and to act as a sparring partner for the Finance Director. You will own full P&L management for our retail and web business and collaborate with European Headquarters to drive revenue and cost control.

You will plan and monitor annual budgets, perform forecasts, and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with HGB & IFRS. English fluency is essential; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in business administration with a focus on finance & controlling.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in the retail business.
• A sound knowledge of monthly and annual financial statements, taking into account the guidelines of HGB & IFRS.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, German would be a plus.

Aufgaben

• Be a strong sparring partner for our Finance Director and internal departments and work closely with the European Headquarters.
• To take responsibility for the full P&L management (revenue and cost control) of our retail and web business.
• To assist in the planning and monitoring of the annual budget, reviews during the year, financial planning and ad-hoc simulations.
• To prepare regular forecasts as well as weekly and monthly reports.
• To prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as assisting in their execution.
