Based at the industrial plant in Voerde (Germany), the Business Controller acts as a true partner to management and operational staff, ensuring the reliability of financial data, the relevance of analyses, and the smooth running of budget management.

Basé sur le site industriel de Voerde (DE), le Business Controler agit en véritable partenaire auprès de la direction et des opérationnels, garantissant la fiabilité des données financières, la pertinence des analyses et la fluidité du pilotage budgétaire. Son rôle est transverse, couvrant plusieurs entités/sites au sein de son périmètre de responsabilité, avec une forte dimension d’accompagnement, d’animation et d’amélioration continue des processus et des résultats.

Reporting and hierarchy

• The Business Controller reports directly to the Head of Controlling, who is based at the Group's headquarters.
• The Business Controller provides support to operational staff within their area of responsibility.

Rapport et hiérarchie

• Le Business Controller est rattaché et rapportera directement au Head of Controlling, lui-même situé aux Headquarters du Groupe.
• Le Business Controller aura une fonction de support auprès des opérationnels faisant partie de son périmètre de responsabilité.

Management of monthly closings

• Organization and supervision of financial data reporting with local teams and compliance with critical deadlines for accounting closings (in line with the Group schedule).
• Production of items related to cut-offs and analytical allocations.
• Checking data consistency between accounting and operational reports.

Gestion des clôtures mensuelles

• Organisation et supervision des remontées de données financières avec les équipes locales et respect des deadlines critiques pour la clôture comptable (en lien avec le planning Groupe).
• Production d’éléments liés au cut off et aux répartitions analytiques.
• Contrôle de la cohérence des données entre la comptabilité et les reportings opérationnels.

Reporting and performance analysis

• Preparation, updating, and distribution of monthly reports (P&L, volumes, margins, costs, variances vs. budget—Group format) for each entity within the scope.
• Analysis of variances, identification of root causes, drafting of summaries and recommendations for management and site managers.
• Leading regular meetings with operational staff to explain results and challenge action plans.

Reporting et analyse de la performance

• Élaboration, mise à jour et diffusion des reportings mensuels (P&L, volumes, marges, coûts, écarts vs budget - format Groupe) pour chaque entité du périmètre.
• Analyse des écarts, identification des causes racines, rédaction de syntheses et recommandations à destination de la direction et des responsables de site.
• Animation de points réguliers avec les opérationnels pour expliquer les résultats et challenger les plans d’action.

Budget management and forecasts

• Participation, coordination, and monitoring of the annual budget process and revised forecasts (collection, consolidation, analysis, synthesis) using Group tools.
• Leading kick-off meetings, follow-ups, and supporting sites in data entry and justification.
• Monitoring corrective action plans in the event of significant deviations.

Pilotage budgétaire et forecasts

• Participation, coordination et suivi du processus budgétaire annuel et des re-prévisions (collecte, consolidation, analyse, synthèse) sur les outils Groupe.
• Animation de réunions de lancement, relances, accompagnement des sites dans la saisie et la justification des données.
• Suivi des plans d’actions correctifs en cas d’écarts significatifs.

Process and tool optimization

• Active participation in the continuous improvement of Group management tools (Power BI, Excel, ERP, reporting automation) and in ensuring the reliability of databases.
• Proposing and implementing solutions to optimize closing, inventory, invoicing, cost tracking, and inventory processes.

Optimisation des processus et outils

With a Master’s degree in Management Control, you have a strong command of the Windows environment and the Microsoft 365 suite (particularly Excel), as well as basic calculation methods (rule of three or cross-multiplication). Proficiency in Power BI, especially in DAX language and Power Query transformation, is a strong asset.

You demonstrate rigor, organization, and autonomy, and show a strong sense of initiative, responsibility, and prioritization. Your excellent interpersonal skills, service-oriented mindset, and responsiveness will enable you to collaborate effectively with the company’s various departments.

You have at least 4 years of proven experience in an industrial environment and possess a genuine ability to create, analyze, and manage numerical data.

Fluency in French, German, and professional English is essential.

De formation Bac+5 en contrôle de gestion, vous maîtrisez l’environnement Windows et la suite Microsoft 365 (notamment Excel) ainsi que la règle de trois (ou produit en croix). La maitrise de l’outil Power BI est un plus, notamment le langage DAX et la transformation Power Query.

Doté(e) de rigueur, d’organisation et d’autonomie, vous savez faire preuve de sens de l’initiative, de responsabilités et de priorisation. Votre excellent relationnel, votre sens du service et votre réactivité vous permettront de collaborer efficacement avec les différents services de l’entreprise.

Vous justifiez d’une expérience probante d’au moins 4 ans sur un site industriel et possédez une réelle capacité de création, d’analyse et de gestion d’éléments chiffrés. La maîtrise du français, de l’allemand et de l’anglais professionnel est indispensable.
