The role reports to the Global CFO and collaborates with local management to translate financial data into insights, drive performance improvements, and support strategic decisions for sustainable growth. You will own month-end closes and budgeting.

Qualifikationen

• Strong experience in accounting and controlling.
• Solid understanding of the full accounting cycle and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of German GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience working in an international or group environment is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with a hands-on approach.
• Confident working independently and managing priorities.
• Previous leadership or team management experience.

Aufgaben

• Manage monthly and year-end closing, ensuring accurate and timely reporting (SAP)
• Prepare and present financial results to local and group stakeholders
• Act as a business partner to operational teams, identifying improvements and cost efficiencies
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
• Maintain and improve finance processes, controls, and reporting standards
• Oversee audits and act as the main contact for external auditors
• Ensure compliance with German GAAP, IFRS, VAT, and tax regulations
• Collaborate with shared service centres and group finance teams
• Lead and develop the local finance team

This role reports to the Global CFO and works closely with the local management team, playing a key role in both financial operations and business decision-making.

You will take full ownership of finance, combining hands‑on accounting with business partnering. Acting as a key advisor to the business, you will translate financial data into insights, support performance improvements, and help drive sustainable growth.
