E.ON Energie Deutschland GmbH sucht einen Business Continuity Officer (f/m/d) zur Unterstützung der digitalen Transformation im Unternehmen. In dieser Rolle sind Sie für die Risikoidentifikation und -bewertung innerhalb der Business Unit verantwortlich.

Sie kümmern sich um die Implementierung von BCM-Richtlinien, führen Geschäftsanalysen durch und koordinieren BCM-Audits. Mit mehreren Jahren Erfahrung im Bereich Business Continuity Management sind Sie bestens für diese anspruchsvolle Position geeignet.

Qualifikationen

• Mehrere Jahre Erfahrung im Business Continuity Management.
• Erfahrung in der Implementierung von BCM-Programmen.
• Gute Kenntnisse der ISO 22301.

The Team – your impact

You are a member of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) team, acting as second line of defense for Business Continuity across the Business Units (BU). Together with your colleagues, you ensure that continuity risks are identified, managed, and mitigated in a consistent and effective manner. Business Continuity encompasses the resilience of all business processes, including the underlying Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT), as well as assets, operations, suppliers, employees, and facilities.

Your Role – meaningful & rewarding

• Act as the primary contact for Business Continuity within the Business Unit
• Coordinate the implementation of group BCM policies and standards
• Provide advice and guidance on Business Continuity topics to the Business Unit
• Conduct and coordinate Business Impact Analyses (BIA) with process owners to identify critical processes and dependencies
• Coordinate and support internal and external BCM audits, including remediation of findings
• Drive the continuous improvement of the BCM framework
• Develop and steer BCM roadmaps and maturity development
• Ensure that Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery tests are planned and executed
• Coordinate and align Business, IT, OT and Service Continuity to ensure Business Continuity activities (like BIAs and tests) run smoothly and consistently
• Develop and maintain emergency and contingency plans (e.g., pandemics, natural disasters)
• Support the Crisis Management Support Team with Business Continuity Plans (BCPs)
• Design and implement BCM awareness initiatives and training programs
• Report on BCM maturity and roadmap progress to BU Board and VP BCM
• Manage and document incident reporting and emergency procedures, ensuring alignment across key stakeholders (e.g., ISO, DPO, IT Head, OT Head)

Your Profile – authentic & open-minded

• Several years of professional experience in Business Continuity Management in matrix organizations and/or functional organizations
• Strong track record in implementing BCM programs at scale
• Operational experience across diverse business functions
• Strong understanding of IT/OT service continuity and disaster recovery concepts (e.g. RTO/RPO, resilience patterns)
• Expert knowledge of ISO 22301 and basic understanding of ISO27001, 27019 and 27031
• Relevant BCM/ Resilience certification such as CBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or equivalent
• Good understanding of grid/energy systems, IT and OT environments
• High ownership and decision-making capability, even under uncertainty
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across stakeholders
• Strategic thinking who connects big-picture goals with practical execution
• Strong business acumen with understanding of value, risk, and operations
• Fluent in English and local language (written and spoken)
• Valid driver’s license (Class B)
