Job summary

E.ON SE is seeking a seasoned Business Continuity Management professional to join the BCM team as second line of defense for EDT. You will help identify and manage continuity risks while supporting resilience across business operations.

You will lead BIAs, oversee BCM policies, audits, and remediation, and drive collaboration across business, IT, OT, and Service Continuity functions. Hybrid work arrangement with focus on continuous improvement and reporting.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in Business Continuity Management or resilience.
• Proven track record implementing BCM frameworks and programs.
• Strong understanding of risk, operations, and organizational resilience.
• Knowledge of IT/OT continuity and disaster recovery (RTO/RPO).
• Certified BCM professional (e.g., CBCI) preferred.
• Business fluent English and German.

The Team – your impact

As part of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) team, you act as the second line of defense for Business Continuity for EDT. You help ensure that continuity risks are identified, managed, and continuously improved while supporting resilience across business operations.

Your Role – meaningful & rewarding

• Act as the primary Business Continuity Management (BCM) contact at E.ON SE
• Implement and oversee BCM policies, standards, and strategic roadmaps
• Lead Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and identify critical processes and dependencies
• Coordinate BCM audits, testing activities, and remediation actions
• Drive collaboration across Business, IT, OT, and Service Continuity functions
• Develop emergency and continuity plans and support crisis management activities
• Promote BCM maturity through continuous improvement, awareness initiatives, and management reporting

Your Profile – authentic & open-minded

• Several years of experience in Business Continuity Management, resilience, or a related field, ideally within a matrix organization
• Proven track record of implementing and enhancing BCM frameworks and programs
• Strong understanding of business operations, risk management, and organizational resilience
• Solid knowledge of IT/OT continuity, disaster recovery, and resilience concepts (e.g. RTO/RPO)
• Expertise in ISO 22301 and familiarity with related standards such as ISO 27001, 27019, and 27031
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to drive change across functions
• Relevant BCM certification (e.g. CBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor)
• Business fluent English and German language skills
