Job summary

Redcare Pharmacy is seeking a Procurement Business Analyst to bridge data and business across Europe. You will analyze procurement performance, build Power BI dashboards, and partner with Strategic Buyers and Procurement Management to drive commercial decisions.

You will translate complex data into actionable insights, support supplier negotiations, and contribute to KPI harmonization across markets, with a focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, or a comparable field.
• Initial professional experience in BI, analytics, Performance Management or Consulting.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI and SQL.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis, KPI management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• English proficiency; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze procurement KPIs including supplier profitability, purchasing conditions, supplier bonuses, payment terms, purchasing volumes and direct supply share.
• Develop and improve Power BI dashboards and analytical reports for procurement monitoring.
• Partner with Strategic Buyers and Procurement Management to support commercial decision-making.
• Translate datasets into clear recommendations to improve supplier profitability and purchasing terms.
• Prepare analyses for supplier negotiations, business reviews and KPI improvement opportunities.
• Identify cross-country performance differences and opportunities across European markets.
• Collaborate with Finance/Controlling, Demand & Supply and Data/BI to align requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and analytical capabilities.

About the Role

At Redcare Pharmacy, data plays a key role in driving commercial performance and strategic decision-making. To further strengthen our Strategic Procurement organization, we are looking for a Procurement Business Analyst who combines strong analytical capabilities with commercial thinking and excellent stakeholder management skills.

In this role, you will act as a bridge between data and business. Working closely with our Strategic Buyers and Procurement Management across Europe, you will analyze Procurement performance, identify improvement opportunities and translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.

You will not only provide transparency on what is happening but also help our Procurement teams understand why it is happening and what actions should be taken.

About your Tasks:

Procurement Performance Analysis: Analyze key Procurement KPIs, including supplier profitability, purchasing conditions, supplier bonuses, payment terms, purchasing volumes and direct supply share.

Business Intelligence & Reporting: Develop, maintain and continuously improve Power BI dashboards and analytical reports that enable Procurement teams to monitor performance and make informed decisions.

Business Partnering: Act as a trusted analytical partner to Strategic Buyers and Procurement Management, proactively challenging assumptions, identifying opportunities and supporting commercial decision-making.

Commercial Insights: Translate complex datasets into clear recommendations to improve supplier profitability, purchasing conditions and overall Procurement performance.

Supplier & Negotiation Analytics: Prepare fact-based analyses for supplier negotiations, business reviews and strategic discussions, including supplier profitability, bonus achievement and commercial improvement opportunities.

Cross-country Analysis: Identify performance differences, best practices and commercial opportunities across our European markets, supporting the harmonization of Procurement reporting and KPI structures.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with Strategic Procurement, Category Management, Finance/Controlling, Demand & Supply and Data/BI to align business requirements and analytical priorities.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, analytical capabilities and performance management, translating business needs into clear requirements for technical development.

Qualifications

About You:

A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, Business Informatics or a comparable field.

Initial professional experience in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Performance Management, Consulting or a similar analytical business-facing role.

Hands-on experience with Power BI and SQL, with the ability to independently analyze data, develop dashboards and generate meaningful business insights.

Strong Excel skills and a solid understanding of data analysis, reporting and KPI management.

Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking, combined with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to see the bigger picture.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to present findings, challenge assumptions and translate complex analyses into clear recommendations.

Experience in Procurement, retail, e-commerce, commercial performance management or consulting is a strong advantage.

A structured, proactive and solution-oriented working style, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to drive topics independently.

Very good English communication skills; German is an advantage.
