A large financial services firm in Munich is seeking an experienced Cash & Payments Specialist to join their Cash Control and Infrastructure Team. The position requires expertise in SWIFT, SEPA, and TARGET2, with a focus on managing payment infrastructure and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, 5-10 years of experience in banking, and be fluent in German and English. We are looking for an experienced Cash & Payments Specialist to join our Cash Control and Infrastructure Team in Munich, Germany. Comprehensive knowledge of SWIFT, SEPA, TARGET2, and the related regulatory requirements will be essential to support & drive payment projects as part of our team. Maintaining and controlling the infrastructure, including vendor management, will be part of your daily responsibilities. Experience in banking (payments), especially in an international environment, is highly desirable.
The team you will be joining is part of State Street Global Delivery and is responsible for Payments and Cash Management across Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. More than ever, a functional cash operations setup is a key foundation for a financial institution, considering market-wide changes (e.g., ISO 20022) as well as new EU initiatives (e.g., instant payments). On a daily basis, the Cash Control and Infrastructure Team works closely with multiple departments across the globe (e.g., Treasury, Client Service).
