Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science of Nursing required.
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s, an Associate’s degree in Nursing with 1 year relevant experience may be considered.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Florida or valid Multi-State privilege to practice in FL.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.

Summary

To deliver individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families in accordance with established hospital guidelines, nursing professional practice model, nursing care standards and policies and in accordance with ANA code of ethics and external regulatory agencies.Registered Nurses embody the vision, mission, and philosophy of Moffitt Nursing and are committed to and accountable for personalized patient and family centered care and the concepts of Duffy’s quality caring model/caring factors. The lung cancer specialists in Moffitt Cancer Center’s Thoracic Oncology Program take pride in providing patients with first-rate diagnostic including Rigid and Robotic Bronchoscopy and treatment services.

Our Thoracic Specialist have the experience necessary to treat complex cases with our individualized approach to treatment ensures that a one-of-a-kind plan is optimized for each patient’s unique needs.

Our team includes medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, pathologists, pulmonologists, radiologists, pain management specialists and supportive care specialists, all of whom work together to provide patients with an individualized care experience.

We are currently looking for aRegistered Nurse (RN)to join our Bronchoscopy team.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Bronchoscopy experience preferred
• Procedural experience
• Oncology experience

Credentials and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science of Nursing
• In lieu of Bachelors, an Associate’s degree in Nursing _ plus _ 1 year of relevant experience may be considered
• Preferred Education-Master’s Degree
• Registered Nurse (RN)RN-Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of FL, or a valid Multi-State privilege to practice in FL (must declare FL as primary State of residence within 60 days from date of hire if licensed in another eNLC compact state with multi-state privileges)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) Is required

Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient

Salary Range

$36.63 - $54.93

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
