Contabo GmbH, a growing cloud provider, seeks a full-time Brand Manager to own our global brand evolution across website, product UI, API docs, email, paid media and social channels.

You will manage the branding agency end-to-end, develop the messaging architecture and tone of voice for product lines, and drive the rollout with cross-functional teams while expanding into EU, US and LATAM markets.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience developing brand strategy and identity from brief to delivery.

Your creative field

We are looking for a full-time, permanent Brand Manager (all genders) to start as soon as possible. We live remote-first within Germany, but you have the freedom to choose whether you want to work hybrid or completely on-site due to your proximity to one of our locations.

As our new Brand Manager, you'll have responsibility of one of the most impactful projects currently running at Contabo: our brand. With 250,000+ customers worldwide and a strong reputation in developer and infrastructure communities, we're now transitioning from a VPS-focused positioning toward becoming Europe's AI Cloud Inference Provider.

The groundwork is done: strategy set, agency engaged, direction clear. What we need now is someone who takes ownership of the execution. That means running the agency relationship, driving the messaging architecture for both product identities, and making sure the rollout actually happens - across the website, product UI, API docs, email, paid, social. All of it and consistently.

You'll manage the branding agency end-to-end briefings, feedback rounds, milestone tracking, sign-offs and develop the messaging architecture and tone of voice for both product lines. That includes creating brand guidelines, design tokens, and all the rollout-ready assets that come with it. From there, you drive the actual rollout across every customer-facing touchpoint: website, product UI, API docs, email, paid media, social.

You brief and quality-control content output from internal and external contributors, keep the PR story pipeline moving together with our PR Manager, and set up brand tracking across Peec.ai, GA4, sentiment, and Share of Voice - reporting results directly to the Head of Creative Marketing and the CMO. As we continue to expand into EU, US, and LATAM markets, you're also the one making sure brand consistency and localization stay on track.

You’ll report directly to the Head of Creative Marketing in the CMO organization and work closely with Product, Support, SEO/GAIO, and PR - without having direct authority over those teams. Strong stakeholder management is therefore a core part of making this work.

Must have:

• Proven experience developing brand strategy and identity - verbal and visual - from brief through to delivery
• Track record managing external agency relationships end-to-end (briefings, feedback rounds, sign-offs)
• Real familiarity with B2B / B2C tech audiences, particularly developers and infrastructure engineers - not surface-level, but you know how they think and what they dismiss immediately
• Project management across cross-functional teams: milestone tracking, stakeholder alignment, the coordination that doesn't show up in the final deck but determines whether the final deck ever gets implemented
• 5+ years in brand management or brand strategy, with meaningful time in B2B tech, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or developer-focused products
• English C1/C2 (working language) and German B2+, other EU languages are a plus

Should have:

• Experience with brand tracking and measurement – sentiment, Share of Voice, brand recall surveys; you've used data to make a concrete decision, not just reported it
• Hands-on with tools like Peec.ai or Brand24, GA4, Figma, Confluence/Jira, and at least one CMS
• AI usage fluency

Nice to have:

• SEO and content strategy fundamentals; understanding of GAIO/LLM visibility is a real advantage here
• Experience in a PE-backed or VC-backed environment where ownership is high and process guardrails are limited
• Spanish or Portuguese
