Board Member Recruitment – Volunteer Opportunity - Seeking Board Members from Diverse Backgrounds

The Light of Hope Foundation is a registered non‑profit organization operating under the Government of Canada. The foundation aims to serve underprivileged communities, facilitate immigration services for refugees abroad, and provide educational opportunities for individuals who are unable to pursue education in their home countries.

Overview

The Light of Hope Foundation is actively seeking individuals from diverse cultural, racial, ethnic, professional, and experiential backgrounds to join our Board of Directors. We believe that our mission is best advanced when our leadership reflects the communities we serve. This is a volunteer opportunity for individuals who are passionate about equity, community impact, and inclusive leadership. Previous board experience is not a prerequisite; we welcome first‑time board members and will provide comprehensive onboarding and support. Time Commitment: Four meetings per year, two hours per meeting. Term Length: Two‑year term.
