Heinemann Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Hamburg's HafenCity is seeking a BI Data Architect to ensure our data and KPI landscape is a single source of truth for informed cross-functional decisions. You’ll bridge IT and business reporting, owning data models, KPI definitions and governance.

Responsibilities include designing data models and BI architecture, implementing SQL-based transformations, and guiding governance while coordinating with IT and business units.

BI Data Architect (m/f/d)

Your new job includes

As BI Data Architect (m/f/d), you ensure that our data and KPI landscape is consistent, controllable and usable as a “Single Point of Truth” for well‑founded cross‑functional decision‑making. You act as a sparring partner and bridge between IT‑related as well as business‑side reporting and analytics requirements.

In particular, you will

• design and own the data model and BI architecture, including BI data models, layers, data marts and semantic layers
• define KPI logics along business process logics and translate relevant requirements into consistent KPI definitions and business rules
• implement technical data preparation, especially by developing and maintaining SQL scripts for transformations, aggregations and KPI calculations
• establish and manage KPI governance, including KPI literacy, standards, definitions and versioning to ensure company‑wide consistency
• manage projects and interfaces, lead sub‑projects and coordinate alignments and specifications with IT and business departments

What you should bring along

• deep understanding of data models, KPI logics and BI architectures

• deep and broad business process knowledge in retail
• strong conceptual thinking and governance understanding
