Citi is offering a 6-month Placement Analyst internship in the DCM team in Frankfurt, starting January 2027. You will assist in origination and execution of live transactions, including benchmark bonds and private placements for the DACH FIG and Corporate Debt groups.

You will also help prepare pitch books, collect market data, and condense research into macro and credit updates for clients. English fluency is required; German skills are helpful.

Our DCM Team in Frankfurt is currently looking for a Placement Analyst to start in January 2027 for 6 months. We are advising our clients regarding the issuance of various fixed income products and their capital structure. As a placement analyst in the DCM team, you will get the unique opportunity to work alongside a team where you will be able to actively participate in day‑to‑day tasks as well as work closely with other related departments such as Fixed Income Sales and Corporate & Investment Bankers.

Your time here will look something like this…

• Supporting senior team members in the origination & execution of live transactions that include benchmark bonds as well as private placements for the DACH Financial Institution Groups (FIG) and the DACH Corporate Debt Group.
• Supporting the DACH FIG and Corporate DCM team members in their daily work
• Preparation of pitch books during the preliminary stages of a transaction
• Collecting market information to support client coverage and decision making
• Preparation of term sheets and indicative pricing updates
• Condensing research from a vast variety of sources and prepare macro and credit market updates for our clients
