Zusammenfassung

STACKIT sucht einen erfahrenen Backend-Entwickler (Go) zur Mitgestaltung unserer Speicherprodukte. Sie arbeiten an der Entwicklung in einer Kubernetes-basierten Umgebung und gestalten die Softwarearchitektur gemeinsam mit dem Team. Integration in STACKIT-Portale und Terraform Provider gehören ebenso dazu.

Sie bringen fundierte Golang-Kenntnisse, Cloud-Architekturverständnis sowie Erfahrung mit REST/gRPC, PostgreSQL und Kubernetes mit. Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse runden das Profil ab.

Qualifikationen

• Fundierte Golang-Erfahrung in produktionsnahen Umgebungen.
• Erfahrung mit Cloud-Umgebungen und Architekturkenntnissen.
• Sichere Deutsch- und Englischkommunikation.
• Verständnis von REST/gRPC, PostgreSQL und Kubernetes.
• Kenntnisse in Build- und Release-Management.

Aufgaben

• Gestaltung der STACKIT-Speicherprodukte über den gesamten Lebenszyklus.
• Backend-Entwicklung in Go in einer Kubernetes-basierten Umgebung.
• Unterstützung der Software-Architektur in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Team.
• Integration neuer Produkte in STACKIT-Portale und Terraform Provider.
• End-to-End-Verantwortung für unsere Produkte in Abstimmung mit STACKIT-Service-Teams.

Your tasks

• Product development: You actively shape the future of relevant STACKIT storage products (e.g. object storage) over the entire life cycle. On the basis of Golang, we offer highly automated self-services with REST APIs in a Kubernetes-based environment
• Software quality: As a backend developer, you are part of a team with technical excellence and your own aspiration to become a little better every day and to continuously optimize our products
• Architecture: You support the development of the software architecture, which you develop in cooperation with your team and make it a reality - because it is important to you to build a long-term stable and reliable solution that our customers like to use
• Integration: To ensure that new products and functionalities can be seamlessly integrated into the STACKIT product family, you coordinate the specialist and technical coordination with the responsible STACKIT services, e.g. for integration into the STACKIT portal, the STACKIT Terraform provider or the central STACKIT IAM
• End-to-end responsibility: Identifying with the products we provide to our customers is very important to us. Therefore, we actively live an end-to-end responsibility and receive support from many internal STACKIT service teams to refine our services

Your Profile

• You want to make a difference and play a significant role in shaping the solution with state-of-the-art cloud technologies
• You have extensive experience in the development environment with Golang and have knowledge of cloud environments and their architectures
• You have competencies in interface and communication technologies (e.g. REST and gRPC), as well as in database systems (e.g. PostgreSQL) and Kubernetes
• You are confident in the methods of professional software development (from development standards to build and release management)
• You have fun sharing your experiences and knowledge with your team and other developers
• You are quick to grasp and feel comfortable working with new technologies in a fast-growing, dynamic environment
• You have an affinity for IT infrastructure and interest in storage services in highly automated environments (e.g. CI / CD, pipelines)
• Your excellent communication skills in German and English form the basis for successful cooperation in international, agile teams
