Overview

Join the Saarland University iGEM Team 2026. Are you passionate about science, collaboration and innovation? Do you want to represent Saarland University on an international stage? We are recruiting motivated Bachelor’s and Master’s students from diverse fields to join our iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine) team!

What is iGEM?

iGEM is the world’s largest synthetic biology competition, bringing together students from diverse fields such as biology, engineering and computer science to create solutions for real-world challenges. Your Role as a Team Member

As part of the team, you’ll contribute to one or more of the following tasks:

  • Project design and development
  • Wet and dry lab work
  • Human practices, communication and outreach
  • Fundraising
  • Design and media
