AIP SERVICES GmbH in Weßling is seeking an Avionics Systems Engineer specializing in Navigation. The role involves designing and integrating avionics systems on an aircraft level, compliance documentation, and interactions with external suppliers.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace with at least 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry. A good command of English and German, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is required. Avionics Systems Engineer – Navigation (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and integrate avionics systems (ATA 34, 46) on aircraft level
• System design and requirements for the avionics systems
• Design, integration and certification of ATA 34 Navigation systems (AHRS, IRS, Air data systems, GPS, VOR, ILS, DME, ADF, FMS, Radar Altimeter, Transponder, TCAS, TAWS, Weather Radar, ROASS)
• Review and release Part 21 compliance documentation (MoC 0-9)
• Prepare specifications and other type design documents
• Prepare test requests, reports and support verification and integration activities
• Be the point of contact for external suppliers in technical matters
• Support qualification, ground and flight test activities
• Perform technical trade studies

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or Diplomingenieur in Aerospace
• 5 years of experience in aerospace industry
• Experience of at least one new aircraft development program
• Familiar with EASA Part 21J und CS-25/FAR 25
• Very good English language skills
