Cognizant Life Sciences Manufacturing is seeking an AVEVA PI Engineer to support the PI Historian Operational Service across manufacturing sites. The role focuses on monitoring systems to ensure continuous production and adherence to GMP/GXP standards.

You will analyze real-time data challenges, implement PI System guidelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data-driven solutions. Proven PI System experience and programming/integration skills are required.

Qualifikationen

• Formal IT/engineering background with extensive PI System experience (integration, installation, configuration, support).
• Strong understanding of PI System Architecture and related modules (DA, AF, Analytics, Interface, Batch interfaces).
• Experience with historians and PI System tools; ability to analyze and solve complex real-time data problems.

The AVEVA PI Engineer position offers the opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team that operates across multiple sites, providing support for the PI Historian Operational Service. The AVEVA PI Engineer (m/w/d) will be an integral member of the support team, responsible for monitoring the system to ensure continuous production at the manufacturing site.

Responsibilities:

• Help on analyzing, proposing and implementing solutions to client challenges in the area of real-time data solutions.
• Provide PI System guidelines and best practices
• Implement\manage the managed services solutions for the customer’s portfolio.

Requirements:

• Higher academic or technical education within IT, Engineering, Automation with extensive experience with PI System tools (integration, installation and configuration, support)
• Strong understanding of the PI System Architecture.
• Strong PI System experience (PI DA, AF, ANAlytics, Interface, Batch interfaces)
• Able to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work as a team member as well as alone, unsupervised.
• Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly.
• Self-motivated.
• Passion for quality and excellence.
• Experience with other historians (Ignition, IP21)
• Experience with SCADAs or OPC Servers (Kepware, DeltaV, Rockewell)
• Experience with third party tools (SynTQ, Seeq, Qlik, SIMCA)
• Programming and integration skills
• GMP/GXP experience
