Zusammenfassung

Proxima Fusion GmbH in Munich is seeking an Automation Engineer to industrialise magnet production. You will design, program and operate automation cells for welding, bonding, sealing and coating, turning advanced concepts into scalable hardware.

You will define requirements for automation cells, contribute to control strategies for new production lines, and collaborate across engineering teams to deliver repeatable, safe, high-performance manufacturing processes in a fast-growing fusion

Qualifikationen

  • Master’s degree in mechanical, mechatronics or a related engineering field.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in robotics and automation in industry.
  • Experience with FANUC systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Profinet).

Aufgaben

  • Advise on future line design and automation concepts.
  • Define automation cell requirements for different processes to ensure performance, repeatability and safe operation.
  • Contribute to the development of control strategies for new production lines.
  • Build and commission automation cells, including FAT at supplier sites.
  • Identify and test different manufacturing and in-process monitoring approaches.
  • Design jigs and tools for magnet industrialised production.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians across multiple teams.
