MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conception, programming and optimization of varied PLC projects in fuel cell system construction
- Conception and implementation of automation systems with Beckhoff controllers or Beckhoff industrial and embedded PCs with TwinCAT3 including HMI
- Support of projects and systems from the planning phase to final acceptance
- Carrying out system tests and test setups
- Independent execution of tests, error analysis and error correction (test and debug)
- Development documentation and test documentation of the systems
REQUIREMENTS
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics or a similar field
- At least 3 years of practical experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT3, and experience with HMI development
- Experience with programming in standards such as IEC 61131-3 (e.g. Structured Text), using version control (Git)
- Knowledge and experience with common bus systems and corresponding industrial data transmission (e.g. Modbus, EtherCAT, CAN, RS232, TCP/IP, MQTT)
- Sound knowledge of safety programming and security best practices
- Furthermore, experience in electrical systems and automation is necessary
- Willingness to travel occasionally (once or twice per year)
- Good German (at least B2) and fluent English (at least C1)
