Job summary

Vinted Group is seeking an authentication specialist for our Hamburg warehouse to verify luxury items, assess materials, craftsmanship, labels, and serial details, ensuring originality and excellent condition.

You will stay up-to-date with industry trends and counterfeit developments, expanding your authentication skills and contributing to a sustainable, trusted luxury marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Join a motivated, open-minded team of experienced brand experts and designer fashion enthusiasts.
• Examine a wide range of luxury items to verify their authenticity and ensure they are free from counterfeits or replicas.
• Assess materials, craftsmanship, labels, and serial details to confirm the originality and condition of each item.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, production methods, and counterfeit developments to continuously enhance your authentication expertise.
• Have the opportunity to learn and develop your evaluation skills with us – what matters most is your passion and affinity for luxury products and brands.

Information about the position

As we continue to grow, we are focusing on expanding our authentication capabilities to ensure that we offer only the highest-quality items to our customers. Our goal is to set a new standard in the luxury resale industry while promoting sustainability.

This is an on-site position at our warehouse in Hamburg.

In this position, you’ll

About you

• Ideally, you have solid knowledge of luxury brands, products, and their distinguishing features, allowing you to identify original from plagiarism.
• You are motivated to continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and brand developments.
• Your background reflects a genuine passion for luxury goods, fashion, and attention to detail.
• Advantage: Experience in the luxury resale sector, brand authentication, or a comparable industry.
