Job summary

Ecocert Deutschland GmbH, based in Konstanz, is a subsidiary of the Ecocert Group and offers certification and training services. You will audit agricultural and horticultural operations in line with the EU Organic Regulation and other sustainability standards, preparing audit reports for submission to our Konstanz office.

Residence in Bavaria is required. After onboarding, you will engage with the team on diverse topics and contribute to the certification processes across the production chain.

Qualifications

• You will have a degree in agricultural sciences or an equivalent qualification.
• Alternatively, you will have completed specialist training as a master farmer or a technician in organic farming, or equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant professional experience; placements and part-time work count.

Responsibilities

• Audit agricultural and horticultural businesses in compliance with the EU Organic Regulation and other sustainability standards.
• Draw up audit reports and submit them to the Konstanz office.
• Regularly discuss specialist topics as part of the audit team.

Your role with us In our Bio-DE department, following your on-the-job training, you will audit agricultural and horticultural businesses in accordance with the EU Organic Regulation and other sustainability standards. You will then draw up audit reports, which you will submit to our office in Konstanz. As part of the team of auditors, you will regularly discuss various specialist topics.

Profile

What you’ll need

• You will have a degree in agricultural sciences or an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, you will have completed specialist training as a master farmer or a technician in organic farming, or equivalent.
• You will also have at least one year’s relevant professional experience – work placements and part-time jobs count towards this.
• Residence in Bavaria is a requirement for this position.
