Zusammenfassung

WuXi Biologics is seeking a detail-oriented QC Microbiology Scientist to join our laboratory team in Germany. You will execute analytical testing on water and production samples to ensure quality and safety, and contribute to compliant documentation and SOP updates.

Responsibilities include conducting tests (bioburden, endotoxins, conductivity, TOC, etc.) and drafting reports and SOPs. Proficiency in German and English, and strong PC skills are required to thrive in our regulated environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor-level or higher education in microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, chemistry or a related field.
• Experience in microbiology or physicochemical testing of water samples or environmental monitoring is preferred.
• Good language skills in German and English (written and spoken).

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Control (QC) Microbiology Scientist to join our growing laboratory team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing critical analytical testing on water and production samples to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. Beyond bench work, you will play a key role in maintaining compliance by drafting and updating essential technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This position is ideal for a scientifically grounded professional looking to advance their career in a regulated laboratory environment.

Duties

• Testing samples including, but not limited to, water samples and production samples (bioburden, endotoxins, conductivity, TOC, etc.), and performing the related documentation of the tests and the results.
• Writing and revising documents for the QC-microbiology group including, but not limited to, SOPs, AMPs, protocols, reports, and other technical documents.

Qualifications

• Graduation as technical assistant, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or comparable degree in microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, chemistry or another comparable field.

Experience

• Experience in microbiology or physicochemical testing of water samples or in environmental monitoring
• Good language skills in German and English (written and spoken)
• Experienced in using PCs (intermediate level in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
