Responsibilities
  • Work on several transactions and with multiple project teams simultaneously on all critical aspects of transactions ranging from client development and initial opportunity evaluation to transaction strategy and execution
  • Lead in the preparation of financial and economic analyses and models required for the evaluation and completion of such transactions as well as client presentations information memoranda and transaction documents
  • Seek to identify new business opportunities for Rothschild & Co Global Advisory and new ideas for our clients that advance their strategic objectives
  • Modelling and / or supervising financial valuations e.g. DCF LBO multiples
  • Preparation and coordination of due diligence process
  • Transaction structuring
  • Co‑ordinating 3rd party advisors
  • Supporting coverage effort and attending marketing meetings
  • Building sector expertise and market knowledge
Education and Qualifications
  • Strong academic background in a relevant field e.g. Business Administration or Finance
Experience Skills and Competencies Required
  • Three to five years of work experience in an advisory investment banking or private equity role with a demonstrable track record of success in transaction execution
  • Proven quantitative and analytical skills to develop financial models and valuations with a deep understanding of financial statement analysis
  • Excellent presentation communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to navigate in an international firm
  • Proficient technical skills especially advanced knowledge of MS Excel Word and PowerPoint
  • Fluent German and English both oral and written
  • Highly motivated and results‑orientated committed to quality
  • Professional appearance and hardworking
  • Ability to provide direction and leadership in order to build a strong team environment and to build effective relationships with individuals and teams across different geographies sectors and products
  • Thrives in an international environment
  • Performs under time constraints
  • Ability to build long‑term professional relationships that add value for the client and support the expansion of the business
  • Experience in leading client presentations managing projects and the execution of transactions
