Interpath Advisory seeks an Associate Manager in Restructuring to lead multi-stakeholder engagements from Frankfurt or Dusseldorf. You will diagnose liquidity, assess business plans, and craft robust restructuring solutions in collaboration with senior colleagues.

The role requires native or business‑level German and English (C1). You will join a fast-growing, international advisory firm with a broad European footprint and a focus on delivering practical results for clients in distress.

Qualifikationen

• Strong academic background with experience in a Restructuring team at a leading consultancy or Big Four.
• Strong financial analysis skills and advanced experience in building a range of financial and 3-statement financial models.
• Prior experience in creating Independent Business Reviews (IBRs), liquidity analysis, market assessment or cash flow analysis.

Our German business is lead by a team of highly experienced MDs focused on delivering advisory services across Restructuring, Debt Advisory and Value Creation. Our MDs in Germany collaborate closely with their colleagues across Europe and globally to provide solutions to the complex issues facing business today.

As an Associate Manager in the Restructuring & Advisory team, you will work with experienced colleagues to deliver multi-stakeholder, international and domestic restructuring & advisory engagements. The successful candidate will work within client facing teams to offer direct assistance to companies that are under-performing or experiencing a liquidity crisis.

Responsibilities will include:

• Stabilizing a client’s financial and operational performance
• Rapidly understanding current situation & prospects including a diagnostic assessment of key business and market issues and liquidity forecasting
• Assessment of current business plans & financial projections,identifyingrisks and opportunities
• Creation of robust alternative solutions for the businesses and its stakeholders
• Writing & implementing restructuring plans, including the creation of integrated financial models and short-term cash flow forecasting tools

Financial and Operational Restructuring

Balance Sheet Restructuring

Distressed M&A

Cash & liquidity management and forecasting

Cross-border wind-downs & negotiations with Worker Councils

Preparation and validation of business plans

Independent business reviews

Short term cash flow forecasting

Reporting Cost saving initiatives & Profit Improvement

Strong academic background with experience in a Restructuring team at a leading consultancy or Big Four

Strong financial analysis skills and advanced experience in building a range of financialand 3-statement financial models

Prior experience in some of the following; Creating Independent Business Reviews (IBRs), Liquidity analysis, Market assessment, Capital structure analysis, Options review and Cash flow analysis

Native or Business fluent German & English (C1) is essential. Additional European languages including French and Spanish are advantageous
