Sandoz in Holzkirchen, Germany is seeking a working student or early-career scientist to support LIMS data management, ELN templates, and training. You will collaborate across IT and laboratory teams to ensure smooth LIMS operation and documentation adherence.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab IT, on-site presence, and development of knowledge in LIMS workflows, with a structured compensation package and opportunities within a global biosimilar/generic medicines leader.

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc in Biology/biotech or related field, or equivalent apprenticeship, or student eligible to work as Working Student.
• Excellent IT skills; background in LIMS (LabVantage, Flow) preferred.
• On-site role based in Holzkirchen; full-time study presence.

Responsabilités

• Collect, maintain, and update LIMS master data and ELN templates with lab users.
• Support LIMS implementation, troubleshooting, and cross-function alignment.
• Train and onboard LIMS users; document training and share knowledge.
• Assist with hardware setup for LIMS (printers, tablets, scanners) and coordinate with IT.
• Support improvement of LIMS modules and workflows; implement additional modules.
• Promote good documentation practices and ensure compliance with standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Collect, maintain, and update LIMS master data and Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) worksheet templates in collaboration with laboratory users
• Support local Laboratory Management System (LIMS) implementation activities, assist with troubleshooting, and contribute to alignment with other functions
• Support the training and onboarding of LIMS users through the preparation, execution, and documentation of training activities; contribute to knowledge sharing and status reporting
• Assist with the setup, maintenance, and coordination of hardware required for LIMS usage (e.g., printers, tablets, and scanners) and support collaboration between laboratory and IT teams
• Support the continuous improvement of implemented LIMS modules and workflows and contribute to the implementation of additional LIMS modules
• Promote good documentation practices and support compliance with local and global development and quality standards

What you'll bring to the role:

• MSc in Biology, Biotechnology or related Natural Sciences, or BSc in Biology, Biotechnology or related Natural Sciences, or Apprenticeship (e.g., CTA, MTA) (or equivalent technical education), or currently enrolled student (Bachelor's or Master's level) in a relevant scientific discipline, eligible to work as a Working Student
• Excellent IT skills and knowledge, preferably a strong background in IT laboratory systems/LIMS (e.g., LabVantage, Flow, etc.)
• Knowledge of bioassay development for biopharmaceutical products and related lab processes is a plus
• The job is based in Holzkirchen and requires on-site presence on most days.

Compensation Structure & Criteria:

Sandoz compensation is determined by job level, qualifications, niche skills, experience, and location within company salary ranges. Fully proficient and highly effective employees can expect a starting salary around market median, with those new to the level or with less functional depth at the lower end of the range and those with sustained superior or niche skills towards the higher end of the range. Internal equity and external market data inform our range placement. Annual salary reviews consider performance outcomes, market alignment, and business needs.

• Job location: Holzkirchen, Germany on-site presence on most the days
• Starting pay range: EUR 41,100 - 78,300
• Variable compensation: 5% performance-based bonus
• Additional benefits include: 30 vacation days per year (in full time), 1.200€ vacation payment (in full time), €40/month in capital-forming benefits (in full time), company pension, flex-hybrid working 50% per week in the office, access to our learning & development platforms Skillsoft & Learnlight, Access to our employee share program "OurShare"
