Job summary

Redcare Pharmacy is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee financial closing, inventory accounting, and ESG reporting across the group. The role is based in Cologne or Sevenum with weekly on-site presence and periodic visits to the other office.

You will shape consolidation and reporting, liaise with multiple departments, and guide a team of accounting professionals toward accurate, compliant financial communication.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in financial reporting, ideally with an audit background and international scope.
• Strong IFRS knowledge, with ESRS/CSRD familiarity considered a plus.
• CPA or Dutch RA certification preferred.
• English proficiency required; Dutch or German is an advantage.
• You navigate across departments and engage with diverse stakeholders.
• You care about accuracy, structure, and enabling better business decisions through data.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic input and guidance as the senior point of contact for consolidation, accounting, and reporting matters.
• Coach and work alongside a team of ~5 accounting professionals, building expertise and delivering results together.

About the role

In this leadership role, you’ll work with a passionate team that sits at the core of our Finance department. You’ll be responsible for three impactful pillars: financial reporting, non-financial (ESG) reporting, and inventory accounting. This is a unique opportunity to shape how Redcare consolidates and communicates key performance information across the group—both hands‑on and at a strategic level.

This role can be based in either our Cologne or Sevenum office. Whichever you choose will be your primary location with regular (weekly) on-site presence; occasional (bi-weekly - monthly) visits to the other office are also part of the role.
