At WiserSites, we act as a dedicated digital general contractor for our enterprise-level corporate clients. We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to be the primary point of contact and advocate for our retainer accounts who have existing websites in production and provide support to the Sr. Project Managers while building new websites.

Role Summary
- The Client Advocate: Act as the primary, reliable partner for our enterprise retainer clients, ensuring they receive timely updates and accurate deliverables.
- The Translator: Intake, evaluate, and translate client requests---from straightforward content updates to complex integrations---into actionable technical steps.
- The Coordinator: Route detailed tickets to the appropriate internal specialists (Development, Design, SEO, or Marketing) to ensure smooth workflows.
- The Quality Gatekeeper: Perform rigorous quality assurance on completed tasks before delivering the final result to the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow Management: Efficiently managing up to 25 concurrent projects and acting as the central liaison for your dedicated deck of clients.
- Task Delegation: Utilize visual communication tools (like Snagit or Loom) to explain the expected end user experience to the developers, designers, and SEO teams
- AI Integration: Leverage Gemini AI to summarize client weekly standups, structure project tasks, and optimize your daily efficiency.
- Relationship Building: Establish active, trusting relationships with clients by successfully managing the end-to-end lifecycle of their daily support tickets. You are their primary point of contact and are to be considered an extension of their team.
- Strategic Growth (Months 6-12): Proactively identify areas where clients can maximize their retainers (e.g., speed optimization, technical SEO, goal conversion optimization) and improve their website overall.
What Success Looks Like (Your First 90 Days)
- 30 Days (Assimilation): You have mastered our internal tools (Teamwork, Slack, Gemini AI) and standard operating procedures. You are successfully shadowing a Senior PM, sitting in on client communications, and taking ownership of a starter portfolio of 6-10 retainer projects. You understand your role as the "postman" between the client support tickets and your other teammates in Development, design, SEO, and marketing.
- 60 Days (Execution): You are confidently acting as the central liaison for an expanded roster of 10-18 projects. You can independently evaluate, route, and perform quality assurance checks on routine support tickets with accuracy.
- 90 Days (Ownership): You have built active, trusting relationships with your entire client deck. You understand their overarching business objectives and manage the complete lifecycle of their maintenance tickets with minimal supervision.
Qualifications & Expected Outcomes
- Agency Operations: Proven ability to navigate the workflow of a web development or digital marketing agency from a project management perspective.
- Technical Translation: Strong communication skills with the ability to translate non-technical client needs into precise technical requirements for developers.
- Web Ecosystem Navigation: Capable of logging into WordPress to verify updates, add content to posts and pages, and working knowledge of the WordPress dashboard.
- Availability: Ability to dedicate 40 hours per week during standard daytime EST (New York) hours.
- Bonus Skills: Familiarity with Figma, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, web hosting environments is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.
