Position: Art Directorw/m/d (18-month FTC with option for extension)

Location: Heidelberg, Germany (Office presence expected at minimum 2 days per wee k)

About the role:

We are looking for a talented Conceptual Art Director to enrich our dynamic team. This position is ideal for someone with creative energy who specializes in developing innovative ideas and successfully implementing them on digital and social platforms. You will work closely with the creative directors to bring fresh and impactful concepts to life.

What you will be doing:
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of innovative concepts for digital and social campaigns.
  • Design and create visual content that aligns with strategic goals and brand guidelines.
  • Develop and implement creative ideas across various channels, including social media, videos, and digital platforms.
  • Work hand in hand with copywriters to create engaging visual narratives that resonate with the target audience.
  • Contribute to creative presentations by providing clear visualizations and justifications to support conceptual direction.
  • Stay updated on current design trends and digital innovations, and apply them to enhance your creative work.
  • Support the building and maintenance of strong client relationships through effective and timely communication.
  • Manage projects and ensure timely completion without compromising on quality.
What you need to be great in this role:
  • Impressive portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and innovative design skills.
  • Proficiency in English is required, and having German skills at a B2 level would be an advantage.
  • Extensive experience in digital and social media with a clear understanding of their creative requirements.
  • Expert knowledge in using Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools.
  • Proficiency in employing leading AI tools to optimize visual content creation and enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey creative ideas clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail‑oriented with a high standard for quality in executed work.
  • Proactive attitude and a desire to continuously learn and develop new skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the creative and productive use of AI.
  • Please note it's a 18- month Contract with the option for extension
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry
  • Previous work in integrated or digital agencies
  • Knowledge in handling multi-market campaigns
