Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Personnel and organizational leadership and further development of the department
  • Ensuring production throughput in accordance with Supply Chain requirements
  • Planning optimal machine utilization and managing the department while considering cost-effectiveness, quality, deadlines, and throughput volume
  • Supporting the qualification/validation of machines and equipment
  • Maintaining, servicing, and optimizing the department's operating equipment
  • Initiating and implementing continuous process improvements
  • Contributing to the creation of a production environment based on Lean principles
  • Developing and defining new procedures, such as producibility assessments and the execution of manufacturing tests
  • Monitoring operational data and production-relevant KPIs
  • Conducting and following up on internal audits
  • Acting as the point of contact for plant tours, external audits, and department-related inquiries
Education
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; alternatively, successfully completed technical vocational training with further qualification as a Meister / master craftsman
Work Experience
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position within a production environment
  • Several years of leadership experience
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office and knowledge of SAP
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team, as well as a structured and reliable working style
  • Mindset and working approach based on Lean and safety principles
  • Strong technical understanding and process orientation
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, combined with a strong ability to work independently and take ownership

Pay Transparency:

The annual base salary range for this position is€68,640.00 - €87,360.00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.

This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
